Minimum viable floor plan
Perfect CAD drawing न होने पर भी Vastu review शुरू हो सकता है, बशर्ते basic layout readable हो। एक minimum viable plan में outer wall or plot outline, room boundaries, main entry, north indication और room labels होने चाहिए। Measurements approximate हों तो उन्हें approximate ही लिखें; false precision later mapping में समस्या बनती है।
Hand sketch बनाते समय page को top view में रखें और labels को readable लिखें। “Room 1” जैसी generic naming की जगह “current bedroom”, “proposed kitchen” या “store” जैसे use-based labels अधिक helpful होते हैं।
North और scale को कैसे mark करें
Direction marker को drawing के किसी clear corner में रखें और source note भी लिखें। उदाहरण: compass reading, site survey notation या architect’s north arrow। केवल screen के ऊपर को north मानना safe assumption नहीं है, क्योंकि scan/photograph rotate हो सकता है।
Room और fixture labels
Floor plan label का objective interior design catalog बनाना नहीं है। केवल वे elements स्पष्ट करें जो review context बदलते हैं: bedroom, kitchen, pooja, toilet, stair, storage, balcony, main gate, water points और significant furniture/fixtures। Kitchen में cooktop और sink अलग locations पर हों तो दोनों markers useful हो सकते हैं; bathroom में toilet and wash area separate हों तो clarity बढ़ती है।

Doors, windows और movement
Doors सिर्फ gap नहीं हैं; वे movement pattern और opening location बताते हैं। Main door के अलावा internal doors, passage links, staircase start and landing तथा gates को clear रखना useful है। Window detail हर case में mandatory नहीं, पर large openings, balconies और external access points review context बदल सकते हैं।
- Entry mark करें: कौन-सा door family daily use करती है और कौन guest entry है, clarify करें।
- Opening side दिखाएँ: symbol या simple arrow से door swing/side note करें।
- Circulation paths रखें: large room में passage clear न हो तो furniture layout misleading हो सकता है।
- Fixed utilities अलग रखें: sink, toilet, shaft और staircase को movable furniture से अलग style में mark करें।
- Photo reference attach करें: existing house में ambiguous corners के लिए photos plan label को support कर सकती हैं।
Photo, PDF, CAD और hand sketch
Different input formats की strength अलग है। Photo quickest context देती है, PDF dimensional detail दे सकता है, CAD geometry exact हो सकती है और hand sketch intent जल्दी capture करता है। Best input वही है जिसमें user और reviewer दोनों same room/use समझ सकें। Mixed format project में source hierarchy लिखें—उदाहरण के लिए, “architect PDF latest, hand sketch for current furniture, photos for existing utility”.
Review handoff checklist
- Plan file का current date/version identified है।
- North source visible या separately stated है।
- Outer boundary, rooms और main entry readable हैं।
- Actual room use और proposed room use अलग shown हैं।
- Key doors, stair, water/service markers added हैं जहाँ known हों।
- Any unresolved assumption is listed before analysis begins।

क्या furniture भी floor plan में दिखाना चाहिए?
Only key furniture/fixtures show करें जहाँ use or placement review context बदलता है। सभी decorative items जरूरी नहीं।
क्या floor plan में scale होना mandatory है?
Scale useful है, विशेषकर fine mapping के लिए। If absent, at least one verified dimension and a clear note रखें।
क्या main door का opening direction डालना चाहिए?
जहाँ possible हो, हाँ। Entry context समझने में यह useful detail हो सकती है।
क्या AI photo से exact measurement निकाल सकता है?
AI visual assistance दे सकता है, लेकिन uncertain image measurement को verified geometry नहीं मानना चाहिए। Final mapped calculations deterministic engine और confirmed inputs पर depend करते हैं।
कब नया floor plan version बनाना चाहिए?
Wall, room use, door, staircase, major fixture, boundary or orientation reference बदलने पर updated version बनाना चाहिए।
